Outside Looking In

Outside Looking In

"Outside Looking In", Oil on Linen, 30x30 inches, 2014

Sometimes I get the sneaking feeling that everybody else is having more fun than me, so I concocted this composition with the peach and lone cherry stuck outside wondering what's going on in there.  Of course, the cherries crammed inside the jar are probably envying the breathing room those on the  outside are enjoying.  The grass always seems greener...

This will be one of the headline paintings at my upcoming show this weekend, along with about 60 other pieces.  All the information is here, along with a preview of the other paintings I'll be showing: .
