In Progress - June 27





I've wanted to paint on copper for a very long time, and have finally done so. Rather than applying a ground to the metal, I decided to paint directly on it, and allowed the copper to show around the edges (and even a little bit through some of the thin glazes on the lighter part of the plum).

It's a great effect, I loved doing it, and there will certainly be more like this.
