Tangerine and Shotglass

"Tangerine and Shotglass"
Oil on linen, 24 x 24 inches
Price available on request.

It's done. I'm not super-jazzed about this frame, but it's perfectly acceptable for the show. I was hoping to explore some kind of floating-frame option, but there just wasn't time. Lucky I happened to have had a pair of these 24x24 frames sitting in my studio for the last decade.

Nice work. That's an enormous shot glass you've got there.

I'm working on a picture which is just a bit larger than life sized, which also includes a shot glass. I was having the damnedest time with it though. I think because it was so close to life size, it kept looking funny just a hair larger (not like a shot glass). Finally able to nail it down though once the other scale references were present.

I can't imagine the trouble doing it bucket sized! :P

Lovely painting and that frame looks good with the piece... just goes to show you that hanging on to those unused art supplies and frames does pay off, especially in a pinch!
