"Orange Slices and Glass" is from 2007; about the time I started to adopt the style I paint with now. It's interesting to see some of the early choices I made to capture the sense of realism, particularly in the glass and shadow areas. This is the companion to the other large painting I showed recently, "Captive Lemon"
