In Progress

I haven't shared much in the way of in-progress work here lately, so I thought I'd show what's currently on my easel. This is a larger piece (15x24 inches) that I set aside a few months ago to work on other paintings. I pulled it off the shelf several days ago, and it's a real pleasure to be working on it again.

Thanks for sharing, I love seeing progress pieces. This one is beautiful! I'd also love to know what colors you've got on your palette, especially those blues ;-)

May I ask how you attached the painting panel to the pegboard? I've wondered many a time, and finally decided to give up and ask ... Many thanks!

Thanks everybody!

Carol: I wrote an article on my palette a few years ago. It's a little outdated, but it gives the general idea - http://jeffhayesfinearts.blogspot.com/2008/04/my-palette.html

Can't wait to see this done! Everything in it is absolutely brilliant. The cup is my favorite, but the whole is looking fantastic!

Great Work Jeff. I particularly like the sense of space you have achieved. Is this a pastel??? I see a lot of oil on panel on your site but this one is not labeled and I am not familiar with the palette.
