Jeff, you have been an inspiration to me since I started blogging 3 years ago. I went to one of your Open Studios in the South End and was thrilled to find you such an open and generous artist. Since then I've started giving talks to art associations, and I always mention you and pass along your info. This painting, as with all your work, makes an everyday object monumental, and it makes you stop and say to yourself "I've never really considered the beauty in a pear before!" Thank you.
