I received a lot of positive feedback about another teacup painting I did several months ago. Since I also enjoyed the subject, I decided to have another go at it, with a few variations.

Painting A Day: Teacup No. 2

Reports of fraudulent emails
I just heard from a bidder on one of my paintings that he was contacted by an individual claiming to be me. That individual asked the bidder the highest price he was willing to bid, and then offered to generate a "buy it now" form. The auction would be ended early in exchange for an immediate payment. THIS IS A SCAM!
I have never, nor will I ever contact a bidder asking their highest price on a painting they are currently bidding on, nor will I ever end an auction early if it has bids placed on it.
If you receive one of these emails, please immediately forward it to spoof@ebay.com, and delete with vengence!

It's good to be back here.
As you can see by the date of my last post, it's been a while. The last few months have been rough going; a string of family problems that just seemed endless. I should have updated the blog - at least given a sign of life - but the time got away from me. The good news is that at the end everybody is fine. A special thanks to those who checked up on me during my absence.
Now that things are returning to normal, I'm trying to get back into my routine of doing one or two small paintings every week to post here. I thought I'd get started with a little painting I've been wanting to do for a while; a small luminous orange against a black background.
