Back in my studio

This is my third full day home now, and I'm getting back to work. My first day back was dedicated to some house work, and then yesterday I spent a good part of the day just cleaning and organizing my studio. It ended up being a staging area while packing for my trip, and was in pretty bad shape.

But today it's ready for business. I'd fully completed 7 new paintings prior to leaving, which I haven't yet offered for sale. I think I'll put 1 or 2 of them up today as buy-it-now items in my store, for any last-minute gift shoppers.

This afternoon, I plan to do some actual painting. The teapot in the image above was a grisaille I finished before the trip, and I'm going to pick up where I left off.

Nice to be working again.
